No sooner than we dropped anchor, it was fish on and minutes later we're reelin' one in!

After many unsuccessful attempts, during our most recent outing to Lake Lemon, Mr. Irwin satisfies a life long dream, to become one with a creature from the aquatic world. Living his dream came at the cost of another.

We are equally concerned for the health of the creature pictured here, and as a part of Capt. Dave's catch and release program, this Bass is currently ongoing extensive therapy after his traumatic encounter. We remain in constant contact with the Department of Natural Resources however after this event they are concerned if it will ever return to the wild.

Although many other fish were caught and released, this was the only fish to endure the full brunt of the "Irwin Effect".

Invitation- Lake Lemon - Fishing Excursion May 19th 2007

The fourth voyage of 2007 offered by Capt. Dave Water Excursions ltd is scheduled to set sail this coming Saturday May 19th.


Tentative plans are for a mid morning Breakfast at FlapJacks in Brownsburg, followed by traveling to Lake Lemon for an early afternoon until sunset fishing voyage.


Our plans include fishing, lakeside views, pleasure cruising around the lake; camaraderie and spirited conversation with your friends will combine to provide a lifetime of unforgettable memories.

Exact details of the charter-- the date, time of departure, and duration of the cruise will be tailored to meet the combined needs of the participants if at all possible.

The final decision to depart will be at the Captain’s discretion, rendered in the early morning hours the day of the event. Decision to cancel will be based solely on prevailing weather conditions and forecasts for the day.

In the event of cancellation I suggest we salvage the day with breakfast, brunch, or lunch at a culinary establishment of our choosing.
